The Derby and Derbyshire Disabled Soldiers Settlement makes regular donations to other organisations with similar aims in order to support them in providing their own services to those in need. They have helped many organisations across Derbyshire and its surrounding areas, such as The Royal British Legion Derbyshire, The RAF Association Erewash Branch, Revitalise, the War Memorial Village Derby and the Me & Dee Charity.
The kind of support provided by the Derby and Derbyshire Disabled Soldiers Settlement is entirely dependent upon the organisation and its needs. For example, the Settlement granted funding for the 'Battle against Stigma' project, to help towards the funding of an exhibition at the Quad in Derby. In doing so, they helped raise awareness of the impact of mental illness upon both current and former servicemen.
